Job summary

WSP Cambridge is seeking an Associate with a proven track record in leading MEP projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, contribute to feasibility studies and develop detailed technical specifications.

You will work with clients to interpret project needs and deliver high-quality design outputs. The role requires UK regulatory awareness, BIM proficiency, and coordination across electrical, mechanical and public health disciplines within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Understanding of UK and European regulations applicable to the discipline.
• UK project experience within Building Services MEP.
• Working understanding of latest electrical design software packages to allocate/direction of work on projects.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP or other 3D design software for project direction.
• Ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for project allocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical, electrical and public health discipline work within projects.
• Provide design and technical advice with a multidisciplinary approach.
• Supervise detailed designs and the work of others.
• Direct feasibility studies and production of detailed specifications.
• Review design programmes and ensure sufficient resources are available.
