Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an Associate Driver/Envoy for Newport and surrounding areas. You will travel to customer sites to check stock, create orders for replenishment, and review items allocated to VMI control, building rapport with customers.

The role requires a full UK driving license, forklift certification, basic computer skills, and the ability to use hand tools. Working Monday to Friday on a permanent contract with a salary up to £28,000 dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be competent to drive Vehicles up to 3.5 Ton.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to use hand tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklift).
• Basic computer skills; using a smartphone and Microsoft Office for reporting and communication.
• Written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scanning and ensure VMI/Vending areas are supplied accurately.
• Review, control, and release customer orders via GPRS scanner to required times.
• Ensure quality checks on stock at point of use and conduct contamination checks.
• Manage delivery paperwork and site procedures; log issues through proper channels.
• Communicate changes, shortages, and concerns to sales managers.
• Interface with customers to evaluate needs and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain site standards and housekeeping; keep areas clean and serviceable.
• Report stock/supply issues through correct channels and log them.
• Set up new customer areas within reason and manage site audits and bin systems.

Job Title: Associate Driver/Envoy

Salary: Up to £28,000 dependent on experience

Location: Newport and surrounding areas

Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday

Overview:

As an Associate Driver/Technician –VMI Field Inventory, you will travel to assigned Customer sites / accounts. You will check stock/inventory and create the required orders for scheduled replenishment. You will review all items allocated to VMI control. You will also build rapport with customers to maintain relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily scanning and making sure that all areas of the VMI/Vending are supplied accurately and correctly.
• Review, control, and release customer orders, through GPRS scanner (assigned equipment) to required times.
• Ensure quality checks on supplied stock at point of use and contamination checks on all areas.
• Control documents/ paperwork in relation to deliveries to procedures set.
• Communicate changes, shortages, and concerns directly to sales account managers.
• Interface with customers to evaluate needs or concerns and communicates. Aware of not sharing confidential information.
• Maintain Site Standards & Housekeeping, making sure that all infrastructure is serviceable and correct. All areas kept clean and tidy to the set standard.
• Report all issues with incorrect stock/ supply issues trough correct channels making sure that issues are logged.
• Be responsible for upkeep of site including relabeling areas.
• Expected to set up new customer areas within reason.
• Manage site audits and review bin systems that you are responsible for

Requirements:

• Must hold full UK driving License.
