Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Estimating for the Water sector in the UK. You will lead the production of robust estimates and cost plans, shaping major programmes and driving best-practice.Establish regional leadership, mentor teams, and engage with clients and other consultants to win work.

The role includes overseeing bid development, cost intelligence and benchmarking, and contributing to ambitious growth plans across the South East and Midlands regions.

Qualifications

• Qualified to high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
• Experience of working with estimating software packages.
• Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB /A. Cost E.
• Experience of working on Major Programmes and Projects in the Water sector is essential.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or manage the production of accurate estimates and cost plans for water sector projects/programmes.
• Promote estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
• Lead in the region to achieve regional strategic goals and departmental objectives.
• Develop junior members of the estimating team and provide direction to staff.
• Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages and pursue new business opportunities.
