Associate Director - Transaction Services

Role Overview

As the Transaction Services Associate Director with a focus on Financial Due Diligence, working with our newly appointed London MD, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of this new line of business within the mid-market segment. Leveraging your strong background and established relationships within the Transactions market, you will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing team, developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive business strategy for the Financial Due Diligence line of business, aligning it with the overall goals of K3 Capital Group. Identify target markets, client segments, and service differentiators to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
  2. Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of talented professionals, including financial analysts, consultants, and industry experts. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, promoting continuous learning and development.
  3. Client Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, leveraging your network and expertise to promote the Financial Due Diligence services. Understand client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure high client satisfaction.
  4. Service Delivery Excellence: Oversee the execution of financial due diligence engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet industry standards and client expectations. Provide strategic insights to clients, identifying risks and opportunities.
  5. Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics within the mid-market Financial Due Diligence segment. Use this knowledge to refine and enhance the business strategy.
  6. Collaboration with Sun Capital: Work closely with Sun Capital, our US private equity owner, to leverage their resources, expertise, and networks. Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and identify synergy opportunities.
  7. Financial Performance: Manage the financial performance of the line of business, monitoring revenue, profitability, and expenses. Develop and implement strategies to meet financial targets.
  8. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and ownership regarding the progress of the line of business. Clearly communicate achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • Proven success in leading and growing financial due diligence services within the mid-market segment, ideally gained from a Top 20 practice.
  • Extensive network and relationships within the Transactions market and broader financial services industry.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive key insights from complex financial data.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in project management, business development, and financial analysis tools.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx is advantageous, as the team works closely with data analytics specialists.
