Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an Associate Director, Finance – Sales Compensation (Data Architecture & Strategy) in London. You will own the data architecture supporting sales compensation, building a trusted data foundation and governing it with rigor. Lead a team of analysts and partner with BI to deliver real-time performance insights to executives.

The role integrates Finance, Sales Operations, and Technology to ensure accuracy, reconciliation, and scalable analytics across a large sales population.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales compensation, data architecture, governance, or financial systems.
• 2+ years in a people leadership role managing analytical teams.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale database design and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with automated reconciliation and data validation processes.
• Proven SOX-compliant data governance implementations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a centralized data platform serving as the single source of truth for commission calculations.
• Lead data and compensation teams, setting goals and ensuring high performance.
• Translate complex contracts into reusable data frameworks integrated into workflows.
• Partner with BI and analytics to maintain validated inputs for downstream reporting.
• Present real-time analytics to senior leaders and drive adoption of correct processes.
