The role involves leadership support of a quality management system, ensuring compliance with business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements. It includes managing a quality assurance team, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting business improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering elements of an annual business plan on time and within budget
  • Providing strategic advice on quality assurance to senior leadership
  • Chairing quality assurance team meetings
  • Line management of QA team members
  • Managing external certification programs and audits
  • Overseeing internal and external audit processes
  • Investigating non-conformance issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Leading management system content reviews and improvements
  • Developing and delivering training on quality and audit topics
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting supply chain performance and sustainability initiatives

Required skills and experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and ISO9001 standards
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in construction, consultancy, or facilities management industries
  • Formal auditor training
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and data analysis tools
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of other ISO standards (ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO44001, ISO27001)
  • Membership in a relevant professional body
