Associate Director – Public Affairs Energy

£70,000 - £80,000

Central London, hybrid working.

A fantastic opportunity to join a communications consultancy. You will play a pivotal role in the energy and sustainability practice. I'm interested in speaking to individuals with a genuine interest in shaping the consequences of climate change and the effect on our quality of lives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Providing clients with strategic insights and guidance on public affairs related to energy and sustainability.
  2. Engaging with stakeholders and influencing policy decisions.
  3. Developing and implementing effective communications strategies to promote client projects.
  4. Contributing to the growth of the practice by identifying and nurturing new client relationships.
  5. Advising clients on potential risks and opportunities within the policy and regulatory landscape.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, communications, or a PR role.
  2. Energy and sustainability sector expertise is essential.
  3. Strong understanding of local/central government structures and political processes.
  4. Excellent ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the media.
  5. Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve client objectives.
