Full Job Description

Associate Director – Public Affairs Energy.

Location: Central London, hybrid working.

We offer a fantastic opportunity to join a national communications consultancy. You will play a pivotal role in the energy and sustainability practice. We are interested in speaking to individuals with a genuine interest in shaping the consequences of climate change and the effect on our quality of lives.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Providing clients with strategic insights and guidance on public affairs related to energy and sustainability.
  2. Engaging with stakeholders and influencing policy decisions.
  3. Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote client projects.
  4. Contributing to the growth of the practice by identifying and nurturing new client relationships.
  5. Advising clients on potential risks and opportunities within the policy and regulatory landscape.

To be considered for the role, candidates should have:

  1. Previous experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, communications, or a PR role.
  2. Expertise in the energy and sustainability sector.
  3. A strong understanding of local and central government structures and political processes.
  4. An excellent ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the media.
  5. The ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve client objectives.
