Associate Director, Project Controls - Infrastructure

    We have exciting opportunities for Associate Director-level Project Controls professionals to deliver major infrastructure projects and programmes in London and the South East. These roles are suitable for specialists with proven experience in sectors such as rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways, or defence.

    Job Description:
  1. Deliver project controls services, managing end-to-end service delivery for large, complex projects. Establish success criteria including time, cost, and performance parameters.
  2. Implement project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Lead and facilitate cross-functional project controls teams in a matrix environment.
  4. Maintain the risk register, supporting risk evaluation and assessment of variations related to performance objectives.
  5. Use performance management techniques, including KPIs, to improve project outcomes.
  6. Manage change control processes and advise on project finances.
  7. Oversee the flow of project information within the team.
  8. Act as the primary interface with the project team, ensuring client objectives are met within time, cost, and quality standards.
  9. Support technical service delivery and the development of the PMO project controls service.
  10. Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time, within budget, and efficiently.
  11. Align project controls delivery with client objectives and contractual conditions.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant technical degree and management qualifications.
  • Experience in project control roles for construction project development and delivery.
  • Skills in planning & scheduling, cost management, risk management, change control, and reporting within complex projects.
  • Proficiency with proprietary systems like Prism and Unifier.
  • Ability to mentor and manage a team of specialists.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6.
