Job Description

We have a number of exciting opportunities for Associate Director level Project Controls professionals to help deliver across a range of major infrastructure projects and programmes in London and the South East. These roles are suited for Project Controls specialists with proven experience in sectors such as rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways, or defence.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver project controls services, managing end-to-end service delivery for large, complex projects. Establish success criteria including time, cost, and performance parameters.
  2. Implement effective project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Lead cross-functional project controls teams in a matrix environment.
  4. Maintain the risk register, supporting risk evaluation and assessment related to performance objectives.
  5. Monitor and improve project performance using KPIs.
  6. Manage change control processes and project finances.
  7. Oversee project information flow within the team.
  8. Act as the key interface with the project team, ensuring client objectives are met within time, cost, and quality standards.
  9. Support the development and implementation of the PMO project controls service.
  10. Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  11. Align project controls delivery with client objectives and contractual conditions.
Qualifications
  • Relevant technical degree and management qualifications.
  • Proven experience in project control roles within construction projects.
  • Experience in planning & scheduling, cost management, risk management, change control, and reporting within complex projects.
  • Working knowledge of proprietary cost management systems such as Prism and Unifier.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
