Turner & Townsend in the Central Belt of Scotland seeks an Associate Director to lead cost management for large energy and natural resources programmes. You will own end-to-end delivery and act as the primary client interface, driving value through strong commercial leadership.

Ideal candidates have proven procurement or commercial management experience, MRICS or MCIPS preferred, and a track record on major programmes within the energy sector.

As an experienced individual you will come with a wealth of experience in cost management ready to apply your existing knowledge in a new and dynamic environment. We are looking for a candidate comfortable in having challenging conversations with a consultative approach that can bring the best out of their team and client.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

• The Associate Director performs the role of the Commission Manager, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex commissions.
• To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service.

Qualifications

• Proven Procurement or Commercial Management experience
• Preferably MRICS or MCIPS
• Experience working with broad range of contract and commercial models
• Experience of working on Major Programmes and Projects
• Experience of working in the Energy and Natural Resources sector (Nuclear, T&D, Renewables, Conventional Energy)
