Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Leeds is seeking an Associate Director in Cost Management for Energy & Natural Resources to lead client engagements on major programmes. You will drive end-to-end cost management, procurement strategies, and commercial governance, building strong client relationships and delivering value.

The role requires proven experience in cost management and procurement for large programmes, with MRICS/MCIPS preferred, and a collaborative leadership style to manage multi-disciplinary

Responsibilities

Turner & Townsend is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Energy & Natural Resources sector, we are looking to recruit an Associate Director level, Senior Cost Manager / Commercial Managerto undertake a lead role.

As an experienced individual you will come with a wealth of experience in cost management ready to apply your existing knowledge in a new and dynamic environment. We are looking for a candidate comfortable in having challenging conversations with a consultative approach that can bring the best out of their team and client.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

• The Associate Director performs the role of the Commission Manager, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex commissions.
• To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service.
• Proven Procurement or Commercial Management experience
• Preferably MRICS or MCIPS
• Experience working with broad range of contract and commercial models
• Experience of working on Major Programmes and Projects
• Experience of working in the Energy and Natural Resources sector (Nuclear, T&D, Renewables, Conventional Energy)
