An exciting opportunity to has arisen to join Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust as an Associate Director of Nursing and Quality. This post covers the portfolio for Adult Forensic Services, Prisons and Rehabilitation services. You will need to have experience of working in secure environments to apply for this post as the knowledge and skills to oversee quality and safety within these environments is a critical feature of the role.
As Associate Director of Nursing and Quality (ADNQ) you will work in partnership with the Associate Director of Operations (ADO) and Associate Medical Director (MDO) . Together you will ensure the effective leadership to support the requirements of the Care Group. You will need to be a strong leader with a mental health or learning disability nursing background who understands the challenges and strengths of working in these very specialist services to deliver care.
You will have gravitas and demonstrate strong influencing and facilitation skills. As a senior leader for the profession, you will advocate for nursing and ensure the inclusion of clinical professions in the work of the care group trio. Strong relationships and inclusion of psychology and allied health professionals is a core requirement. You will need to be creative and flexible and you will participate in the future development of the Trust.

You will hold responsibility to develop and implement quality standards, lead quality improvement and ensure the voice of our service users is present throughout developments in our service delivery.
