  • Post graduate qualification in leadership and management or equivalent portfolio of experience
  • Masters degree in relevant subject
  • Post graduate qualification in specialist nursing practice or equivalent experience

  • Managerial / Teaching Qualification

  • Extensive senior clinical management/professional leadership experience in a large complex NHS organisation
  • Evidence of success in the management of change in a multi-agency context
  • Evidence of delivering high quality service
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and knowledge of methods to develop culturally sensitive clinical practice
  • Experience of managing organisation-wide programmes of quality/risk/service improvement
