Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an Associate Director - Project Manager in Norfolk with flexible working. You will lead a small team of project managers on a flagship Life Sciences project valued over £100m, ensuring governance, client liaison and robust risk management.

Requirements include 10+ years as a Project Manager in consultancy or client environments, chartership (MAPM/MRICS/MCIOB) and a construction-related degree. Attractive package includes car allowance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years+ experience as a Project Manager for Consultancy or End-client.
• Excellent client facing skills with experience in Life Science/Healthcare is advantageous.
• Degree or MSc in construction related discipline.
• Chartership such as MAPM/MRICS/MCIOB desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all project activities, ensuring governance and clear communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Interface with clients and consultants, anticipating needs to deliver high‑value outcomes.
• Enforce Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Risk Management standards on infrastructure projects.
• Define project success parameters including time, cost, specs and KPIs from outset.
• Develop detailed project plans and governance processes for efficient execution.
• Identify resources and advise on procurement strategies to staff and supply projects.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and use performance management to keep productivity high.
• Monitor finances and manage change control to protect commercial viability.
