Connolly Accountants & Business Advisors Ltd seeks an experienced Associate Director to join our leadership team. You will build trusted relationships with ambitious business owners and drive the continued growth of the firm while guiding a high-performing client portfolio.

You’ll lead client engagement, manage WIP and fees, and mentor managers and senior staff. The role combines strategic input, commercial focus, and a passion for advisory services in a growing firm.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of UK accountancy practice experience including corporate and personal taxation.
• Demonstrable business advisory and tax advisory experience.
• Commercially driven with a track record of turning advisory opportunities into billable work.
• Experience managing a significant client portfolio and achieving fee budgets.
• Evidence of winning new business and cross-selling services.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability for teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in business development activities and client meetings.
• Contribute to strategic planning and firm-wide initiatives.
• Ability to delegate effectively while maintaining quality.
