Job summary

Progresso Search seeks a Chartered Structural Engineer to lead complex structural projects across the built environment. The role spans new-builds, refurbishments and remediation with a focus on technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Our client has various locations around the UK and you will need to be in office and onsite and have a couple of days from home.

Key accountabilities

• Lead and manage complex structural engineering projects from initial instruction through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Undertake structural assessments, investigations and technical reviews.
• Deliver holistic structural engineering consultancy advice to commercial developer and institutional investor clients’
• Deliver innovative solutions for structural remediation following fire, flooding, subsidence, impact damage and structural defects.
• Carry out and oversee structural surveys, defect investigations and forensic engineering assessments.
• Produce high-quality technical reports and engineering advice.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and graduates.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and promoting the companies in-house technical expertise.
• Support the continuous development of technical standards and best practice across the business.
• Represent the client through presentations, technical papers, industry events and professional networking.
