Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking an Associate Director to lead analytics for the Metals & Mining group in London. You will oversee asset-driven cost models, collaborate on product roadmaps, and strengthen client relationships across the metals value chain.

You will guide teams, refine interfaces for clients, and work with multiple groups to deliver cohesive market outlooks and insights.

Qualifications

• Experience creating bottoms-up economic models for mining/commodities.
• Proven track record of successful people leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High technical literacy with delivery toolsets (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.).
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to work with multiple stakeholders and move ideas to reality.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of analysts to create asset-driven cost models for minerals across upstream and midstream.
• Provide SME input to refine the client user interface.
• Collaborate with product and data roadmaps across teams.
• Build understanding of customer needs and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Develop and maintain relationships across S&P Global.
