HMT is a leading independent practice advising ambitious entrepreneurial businesses. Our award-winning corporate finance team in London/Henley seeks a senior professional to support the Partner in lead generation and deal execution across mid-market transactions (£5m–£50m).

You will be the central day-to-day contact, handling Information Memoranda, modelling and project management as part of a dynamic team with strong deal flow and rapid progression opportunities.

Qualificações

• Strong corporate finance experience in a professional services or investment banking environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle complex financial modelling.
• Proven track record in leading deal execution and managing client relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Draft Information Memoranda and financial models for transactions.
• Act as central day-to-day contact for all parties involved in deals.
• Support Partner with lead generation and deal execution across MBOs, acquisitions, disposals and growth capital.
• Contribute to project management and ensuring timely delivery of transactions.

The Role

Reporting directly to, and working closely with, a Partner, you will be a senior member of a dynamic team advising small to mid-size businesses and their owners and management considering a range of transactions including MBO’s, acquisitions, disposals and growth capital funding predominantly in the £5m to £50m deal size range. The person appointed will become the central day to day point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction and will need to understand and take ownership of key aspects of a transaction including drafting of Information Memoranda, modelling and project management/deal execution.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a high performer with a strong academic background and at least four years corporate finance experience within a major accountancy practice, corporate finance boutique or investment bank. For candidates with strong relevant experience, ACA/ACCA qualification is not essential. We are looking for the exceptional work ethic, commercial awareness, and strong analytical skills as well as the ability to work to tight reporting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital along with the ability to quickly build relationships based on trust with a wide range of people including business owners and other professionals. Working as part of a small team on a strong and consistent deal flow and closely with a highly experienced partner, there will be the opportunity to gain significant corporate finance experience and rapid career progression.
