AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Associate Director Civil Structural Engineer to guide a multi-disciplinary team in delivering significant infrastructure projects across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of cities and environments, working on innovative projects within the Energy, Defence, and Nuclear sectors.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, be Chartered, and have experience leading complex designs. The role offers a hybrid working model based from London or Epsom, combined with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer.
• Proven experience in leading design delivery in a multidisciplinary environment.
• In-depth knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Expert in current design codes and industry best practices.
• Proficient in analytical software such as Tekla, Robot, or STAAD.
• Experience in the Nuclear energy or Nuclear defence market.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team for technical design on complex projects.
• Manage project design deliverables and budgets.
• Review and approve technical deliverables like reports and drawings.
• Provide Technical Leadership for the discipline.
• Grow and manage Civil Structural Engineering capabilities.
• Advise on technical aspects within project teams.
