AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Civil Engineer to lead design and delivery across major infrastructure, transportation, energy, water, aviation and development projects. The role offers broad exposure, mentoring responsibilities and progression toward senior technical and leadership roles.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or able to become chartered within 12 months.

We offer hybrid working which involves 3 days per week being office/site based. This position can be based from any of our major offices of London Nova, Epsom, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, or Glasgow. It can also be based in our regional offices of Leeds, Newcastle, Peterborough, Exeter, Derby, Cardiff, or Swansea.

You Will

• Oversee the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines to develop integrated and sustainable outcomes for clients.
• Support project delivery from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies within the business.
• Help identify opportunities that create additional value for clients and communities.

About You

You’ll Ideally Bring

• Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with Institute of Civil Engineers or an equivalent institution OR extensive experience and the ability to become chartered with the ICE within 12 months.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
