AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to lead and deliver innovative, sustainable infrastructure across transport, energy, water, and development projects. You will contribute to technical leadership, design management, and people leadership within a collaborative, high‑performing team.

The role offers broad project exposure with opportunity to progress, working in a hybrid model (3 days office/site).

We offer hybrid working which involves 3 days per week being office/site based. This position can be based from any of our major offices in London Nova, Epsom, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, or Glasgow. It can also be based in our regional offices of Leeds, Newcastle, Peterborough, Exeter, Derby, Cardiff, or Swansea.

Your role

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with Institute of Civil Engineers or an equivalent institution OR extensive experience and the ability to become chartered with the ICE within 12 months.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
