Job summary

Macdonald & Company is recruiting for an Associate Director to lead and grow the CDM offering across Northern England. You will own key client relationships, lead Principal Designer and CDM advisory services, and play a central role in expanding an established service line in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and beyond.

The role requires strong CDM expertise, chartered status or near, and a proactive approach to winning work, with hybrid working and significant career progression on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Principal Designer and CDM advisory services under CDM 2015.
• Chartered status or close to achieving it is preferred.
• APS membership (CMaPS or equivalent) desirable but not essential.

Job description

A leading independent property and construction consultancy is looking for an Associate Director to lead and grow its CDM offering across Northern England.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced CDM professional with strong technical expertise and a commercial sensibility. You'll take ownership of key client relationships, lead the delivery of Principal Designer and CDM advisory services, and play a central role in expanding an established service line across Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and beyond.

Working with a super portfolio of commercial clients, investors and occupiers, you'll be in charge of delivering high-quality CDM services, supporting business development, mentoring team members, and contributing to the wider growth of the business.

What you’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisory services under CDM Regulations 2015
• Chartered status (or close to achieving it)
• APS membership (CMaPS or equivalent) – but not a dealbreaker
• Commercial awareness and experience managing client relationships
• A proactive approach to winning work and developing business
• The ambition to progress towards Director level in the future
