Job summary

Carriera Limited, a leading UK property and construction consultancy, invites applications for a CDM & Health & Safety Lead in London. You will own CDM delivery across projects, mentor consultants, and shape the regional service strategy.

Ideal candidates have NEBOSH Construction Cert, IOSH/APS membership, and strong CDM Principal Designer experience within consultancy settings. Hybrid working and clear progression paths to senior leadership are offered.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
• Membership of IOSH and/or APS.
• Strong experience delivering CDM Principal Designer services within a consultancy environment.
• Excellent understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015.
• The confidence to engage with clients, contractors and design teams at all levels.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to developing client relationships.
• A full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of Principal Designer and CDM Advisor services across multiple projects.
• Providing expert advice on CDM 2015 and wider Health & Safety legislation.
• Reviewing Construction Phase Plans, Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety Files.
• Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Attending design team meetings and advising clients throughout project delivery.
• Building long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Supporting and mentoring junior consultants, helping to develop the London team.
• Identifying opportunities for business growth and contributing to the continued success of the regional office.

About You
