Job summary

EY is seeking an Associate Director in Forward Deployed Engineering to drive AI-enabled, data-centric solutions for strategic clients. You will blend deep technical execution with emerging leadership to shape business impact through collaboration with client teams and internal stakeholders.

You will lead and mentor engineers and data scientists, orchestrate AI initiatives using Python and agent frameworks, and help grow EY’s deployment capabilities across cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software, data engineering, or AI/ML solution delivery.
• Proven experience delivering scalable AI/ML solutions in client-facing or collaborative roles.
• Solid expertise in ML, generative AI, NLP, CV, data platforms, and big data technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native development, microservices, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps: CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), monitoring & logging.
• Exposure to multi-agent architectures and cognitive harness patterns.
• Consulting or technical delivery experience with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to support AI and data strategy initiatives.
• Assist in the full lifecycle of solution development—from problem definition to deployment and scaling.
• Align client technology roadmaps with business objectives and emerging AI trends.
• Develop and implement AI and LLM-powered applications leveraging RAG, autonomous agents, and orchestration frameworks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Python and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists within cross-functional pods.
• Contribute to EY’s Forward Deployed Engineering frameworks and best practices.
