Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd seeks an Advisory Associate Director to support delivery of key frameworks and projects, liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders to provide effective solutions and recommendations. The role is senior, with potential secondments to clients on a part-time or full-time basis.

Core responsibilities include developing regulatory plans, asset management strategies, governance structures and timely project delivery, while driving data-driven decisions and business

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure management in water, gas or energy sectors.
• Detailed knowledge of physical asset management within regulated sector.
• Ability to lead projects and work independently and mentor others.
• Develops and maintains client and stakeholder relationships.

Job description

We are seeking an Advisory Associate Director to support the team in the delivery of key frameworks and projects. Liaison with Clients, Contractors and third-party Stakeholders on a regular basis ensuring the most effective solutions and recommendations are provided to the Client.

Core Responsibilities

This is a senior consultant role and it is likely the post holder will be seconded into one of Aqua's clients on a part time or full time basis on occassion.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support the development of justified and efficient regulatory business plans
• Support the development and implementation of asset management plans and strategies
• Progress on the journey of asset management maturity
• improving and making best use of asset data to deliver the right business solutions
• Support the development of long term adaptive strategies
• Ensure appropriate governance and assurance structures are in place
• Delivering projects to excellent time and quality
• Analyse data to produce trends and drive decision making
• Organise meetings and workshops with clients
• Author reports and presentations to enable informed decision making for the client and internal teams
• Contribute to business development activity by contributing to bids and proposals

This is a role which requires you to cover many different types of projects over time, adapting to client needs and sectors as required. Clients are at the heart of everything you do, and you'll demonstrate the ability to constructively challenge the accepted norms and always seek a better way.

• Typically over 10 years relevant experience in infrastructure management in water, gas or energy sectors.
• Detailed knowledge and experience in physical asset management within regulated sector with an awareness of other disciplines / sectors
• Uses best practice and wider knowledge to develop innovative solutions
• Able to lead projects
• Able to work independently and provide support to less experiences team members
• Contribute to business development by supporting bids and proposals
• Develops and maintains client and stakeholder relationships
