Job Title: Associate Director – Hedge Fund

Location: London

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our London office.

About This Opportunity:

We currently have a phenomenal opportunity for an Associate Director to join our Hedge fund team based in London.

In this role as Associate Director, you'll help build a strategic partnership with the client to support our growth strategies improve group revenues and profitability. You'll support the building and management of the business relationships in order to identify clients needs in conjunction with Group credit and profitability requirements.

You'll be an ambassador for change, an early adopter of tools crafted to improve the client and colleague experience and support your wider team to work towards their goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Client Relationship Management: Support the Director and Head of Hedge Funds in leading a designated portfolio of client relationships, with opportunities to lead on client accounts where appropriate.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and delivery partners across the Bank to promote the full suite of the Bank’s offerings in alignment with clients’ strategic objectives.
  • Opportunity Origination & Execution: Identify and originate client opportunities with appropriate support, implementing tailored solutions. Take the lead in structuring client deal proposals under guidance.
  • Client-Centred Solutions: Explore innovative ways to meet client needs and see opportunities to generate additional income, recommending and implementing suitable solutions.
  • Business Development: Support and cultivate new business leads and introductions, contributing to the Group’s overall growth and success.
  • Compliance & Governance: Maintain a strong understanding of Group policies and procedures, ensuring full adherence to compliance and regulatory expectations.

What you’ll need:

  • Client Relationship Expertise: Shown experience in leading and developing client relationships within financial services, with exposure to Non-Bank Financial Institutions, ideally hedge funds or private credit.
  • Commercial Savvy: Confirmed understanding of banking products and services, with the validated ability to identify client needs to deliver tailored financial solutions that drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to work optimally with cross-functional teams, including product, risk, and delivery partners, to achieve shared goals.
  • Analytical & Critical Thinking: Ability to assess sophisticated client requirements, structure proposals, and contribute to strategic decision-making with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Business Development Skills: Track record of generating new business opportunities and building a pipeline through networking, referrals, and proactive engagement.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks within the banking sector, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external standards.
