HSBC Asset Management Direct Lending seeks an Associate Director to drive origination of mid-market private credit transactions across the UK and Europe. You will lead the analysis of opportunities and present recommendations to the Investment Committee, whilst overseeing ongoing portfolio monitoring.
The role requires senior experience in private credit or leveraged finance, with strong financial modelling, due diligence review skills and robust stakeholder management.

We have an opportunity within HSBC Asset Management Direct Lending business for an Associate Director. The Direct Lending team operate across the UK and Europe investing on behalf of Institutional Investors into lower & core mid-market loans. The business has scaled significantly operating in partnership with HSBC Bank who are the leading provider of debt to mid-market private equity sponsor owned businesses. The role will report to an Investment Director and the team are part of the broader Private Credit business in Asset Management reporting to the Head of Private Credit. Private Credit also includes Infrastructure Debt, Venture Debt, and Asia Pacific Private Credit. The team is comprised of 21 investment professionals and 5 product development professionals split between London , Zurich and New York. The team analyse new transaction opportunities, taking them through due diligence and execution.
