Job summary

WEX is seeking a permanent, full‑time Associate Counsel for Global Procurement in London Bridge or Manchester City Centre (Hybrid). The role reports to the Legal Director, Global Procurement and involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology licenses, consulting, and professional services agreements.

The successful candidate will support Business Owners and Procurement Team, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and data privacy regulations, with a competitive £60,000–£65,000

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer or practicing solicitor with current practicing certificate.
• PQE in a well-regarded law firm and/or corporation.
• Experience negotiating technology license agreements (SaaS, software, cloud, SLAs, security exhibits, and privacy addenda).
• Experience negotiating consulting, professional services, telecom, hardware, and real estate agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate technology licenses, consulting and professional services agreements.
• Provide legal support to business owners and procurement team on vendor engagements and third‑party transactions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and data privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage risk and ensure timely closing of vendor deals.
