Checkout.com is seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel to join its Employment team in London. You will advise on hiring, contracts, policies, compensation, HR compliance, performance management, misconduct investigations, employee relations, terminations, and litigation.

The role reports to the Head of Employment in London and involves collaboration with global People Team and stakeholders across the UK, EMEA, APAC, and the Americas; 3 days in office per week.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as in-house employment counsel in a global business or high-growth technology company is highly desirable.

Description: Checkout.com is seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel to join its global Employment Legal team. The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of employment-related issues including hiring, contracts, policies, compensation, HR compliance, performance management, misconduct investigations, employee relations, terminations, and litigation. The role involves working closely with the global People Team and other stakeholders across the UK, EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
Key Details:

• Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Experience: 4+ years PQE (applicants at Senior Legal Counsel level are also welcome)
• Preferred Experience: French and/or Americas (US, Mexico, Brazil, Canada) employment law experience is a benefit.
• Reporting Line: Reports to the Associate General Counsel (Head of Employment) based in London.
