Job summary

Capital on Tap is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Legal Counsel to join its fast-growing in-house legal team in London. This generalist role concentrates on contract drafting and negotiation, manages a small claims portfolio, and provides product lifecycle support in a fast-paced fintech environment.

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate and 1–2 years PQE, preferably from a top-tier law firm or fintech background.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with current practising certificate.
• 1–2 years PQE in top-tier law firm or fintech environment.
• Experience in contract drafting and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate vendor agreements.
• Manage small claims portfolio and coordinate with external counsel.

• Stay ahead of regulatory shifts and assist in creating internal policies.
