We have a great opportunity for an experienced Associate Cost Consultant, with experience in account leadership and management, to lead the commercial management delivery of Residential, Commercial and Mixed Use Development projects across North West of England; driving and enhancing our commercial, service, performance, and client experience. The role requires experience leading multi-million-pound projects and working with diverse multi-disciplinary teams.

• Build trusted relationships with senior members of client organizations to establish new and repeat business. There will be opportunities to manage a portfolio of projects and take on line management and senior leadership responsibilities.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technical specialists, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and developing skills to ensure efficient cost and commercial management services.
• Manage the financial performance of cost and commercial management projects, ensuring costs, schedules, and efficiency meet profit and budget targets.
• Lead and oversee the commercial aspects of projects, supporting teams to deliver within budget and contractual specifications.
• Monitor and review team members' performance and behavior, ensuring organizational policies and codes of conduct are followed.
• Ensure compliance with contracts regarding project delivery parameters and scope of service.
• Analyze complex information from various sources and oversee recommendations to improve long-term performance of the cost management service.
• Develop and implement new cost and commercial management system improvements to enhance services and project delivery.
• Manage relationships with key customers to identify opportunities for service improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Act as a technical expert, providing strategic advice on cost and commercial management to support project success.
• Collaborate effectively across the organization to ensure cost management services meet customer expectations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered professional with skills and experience to support the internal team and manage resources on complex projects typically ranging between £10m and over £100m.
• Experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use cost management.
• Practitioner level expertise in relevant service lines.
• Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with peers and senior colleagues and building relationships.
• Commercial acumen and organizational understanding.
• Logical thinker capable of handling complex issues and coordinating multifaceted projects.
• Proven leadership skills in managing and motivating large teams.
• Experience in building client relationships at an executive level and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Knowledge of the North West market, especially Manchester / Greater Manchester; familiarity with other regional markets is a plus.
