Job summary

ICE Recruit is supporting a respected independent consultancy in Norwich to appoint an ambitious Associate Civil Engineer. You will combine hands-on technical delivery with project management and client liaison.

You will work on residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed-use developments, delivering infrastructure solutions from concept through to completion, while mentoring junior engineers and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Solid consultancy experience with a strong technical background in drainage and highway infrastructure.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to completion and liaising with clients.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead project delivery within a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed-use schemes.
• Manage projects, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.

Our client is looking to appoint an ambitious Associate Civil Engineer to join its growing team in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on greater responsibility within a respected independent consultancy, combining hands‑on technical delivery with project management, client liaison and team mentoring.

Working across residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed‑use developments, you'll help deliver innovative infrastructure solutions from concept through to completion, while supporting the development of junior engineers and building strong client relationships.

Candidates should have solid consultancy experience and a strong technical background in drainage design, SuDS, flood risk assessments, earthworks and highways, including Section 278 works and Section 106 applications. Experience with Civil 3D is also desirable.
