Job summary

Gleeds Built Asset Solutions in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to lead multidisciplinary projects from feasibility to handover. You will nurture client relationships, deliver high-standard surveying services, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet Gleeds’ objectives.

Qualifications

• Sound Building Surveying experience post MRICS qualification.
• Practical experience delivering professional building surveying services.
• Experience in design, specification writing and acting as contract administrator on JCT contracts.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
• Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer relationship management and developing new relationships.
• Delivery of multi-disciplinary building surveying services to high standards.
• Collaborative work to support built asset solutions and business objectives.
• Managing projects from feasibility through design, contract administration to handover and post completion reviews.
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members and managing fees to optimise revenue.
