Hexagon Group is seeking an Associate Building Services Engineer in Greater London. The role combines technical consultancy, design and project delivery for M&E systems in commercial properties.

You will survey existing installations, develop upgrade solutions and coordinate design activities with consultants and contractors to deliver refurbishment projects on time and within budget.

Formación

• Experience delivering M&E projects within a consultancy.
• Ability to survey existing installations and assess refurbishment potential.
• Strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake surveys and technical assessments of existing mechanical and electrical installations to establish their condition, suitability and potential for refurbishment or replacement.
• Develop engineering solutions for the upgrade, replacement and improvement of building services systems within operational commercial properties.
• Prepare feasibility studies, technical specifications, scopes of work and design documentation for M&E projects.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical design activities, working alongside specialist designers, consultants and contractors.
• Manage projects through the various stages of delivery, including initial feasibility, design development, tendering, procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Review contractor proposals, technical submissions and designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Attend site meetings, monitor construction progress and undertake inspections to assess the quality of installations.
• Liaise with clients, property managers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
• Assist with contract administration, project reporting and the management of programme, cost and technical quality.
• Provide practical engineering advice to clients, considering operational requirements, building constraints and long-term performance.
