Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Cleaner to join our Facilities team at the Service Centre. The role involves cleaning the warehouse according to the established cleaning schedule and ensuring all stations have clean mops and water, with strict adherence to GDP training and annual refreshers.

Hours are Sundays, 09:00 to 13:00 (Part time). The successful candidate will support the Outbound Manager and maintain safety standards while performing a range of cleaning duties and related tasks as assigned by

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of the warehouse following the specified cleaning schedule.
• Respond to calls requesting a cleaner in an efficient manner.
• Ensure cleaning stations contain clean mops and clean water.
• Ensure compactors are emptied per manufacturers' guidelines.
• Clean the compactor area at end of shift.
• Return cardboard cages to their place in the warehouse.
• Identify and report failures to follow or complete the cleaning schedule to the Duty Manager.
• Ensure the cleaning schedule is signed off by the Duty Manager or Supervisor at end of shift.
• Identify and report any equipment failures to the Duty Manager.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements at all times.
• Perform any other reasonable task requested by management.

Job Purpose: To ensure that all aspects of warehouse cleaning are done to the specified standards in line with standard operating procedures and the agreed warehouse cleaning schedule. All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP – REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix.

Key Accountabilities

• Cleaning of the warehouse following the specified cleaning schedule
• To ensure that all calls requesting a cleaner are responded to in an efficient manner
• To ensure that the cleaning stations all contain clean mops and clean water
• To ensure that the compactors are emptied in accordance with the manufacturers recommended guidelines
• Compactor area to be cleaned at the end of the shift
• All cardboard cages to be emptied and returned to their place within the warehouse
• Identify and report any failures to follow or complete the cleaning schedule and escal
• ate to the attention of the Duty Manager
• To ensure that the cleaning schedule is signed off by the Duty manager or Supervisor at the end of each shift
• Identify and report any equipment failures to the Duty Manager
• Adhere to all aspects of Health & Safety at all times
• Any other reasonable task requested by management

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or a related field required. Certification in maintenance, technical operations, or equipment handling, or equivalent preferred.
