Job summary

Cencora, Inc. in Swansea is hiring part-time warehouse operatives to support the supply of healthcare products across the UK. You will join a fast-paced team handling picking and packing, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Shifts are 20 hours per week across 4 days with fixed day off; includes evening and weekend hours. We welcome reliable, team-focused applicants with basic numeracy and literacy, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment with tidy, methodical approach.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members; basic numeracy and literacy required.
• Flexible, adaptable attitude for varying tasks and shifts.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and perform bending and lifting in line with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders on the manual picking belt.
• Handle picking in medical bulk and fridge areas (fridge area commands a premium).
• Operate in secure areas and assist with transport and routing completed orders.

Job Details

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE Part time x 5 positions available Hours: 20 per week Schedule: 4 days Monday to Friday with a fixed day off 1800-2200 plus a Sunday 0800-1200 .

About the Role

As a warehouse colleague you will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for carrying out essential roles that will keep the supply of healthcare products to those who need it across the UK going. Some of the roles you could be doing include:

• Picking and packing orders on the manual picking belt
• Picking in the medical bulk area
• Picking in the fridge area (attracts a premium)
• Picking in secure areas
• Carrying out roles within transport and routing completed orders to their final destination

Skills and Experience Required

You will have previous experience of working in a warehouse environment and work in a tidy and methodical manner. You should be flexible and adaptable on your approach to your work and tasks and embarking them with a positive attitude. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all team members and have intermediate numeracy and literacy skills. Due to the nature of the position, you need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as bending and lifting in line with Health and Safety Regulations.
