Job summary

Harris Academy Billericay in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Associate Assistant Principal of English to lead teaching and learning across the English faculty, driving high standards and outstanding student progress.

You will have QTS (or equivalent) and a good undergraduate degree, at least two years of teaching, and a track record of raising achievement, curriculum innovation, and effective staff coaching. This role requires strong leadership, monitoring and ICT-enabled practice.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the English faculty to secure high standards of teaching and learning.
• Monitor, evaluate and review teaching practice to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with staff to implement innovative curriculum changes.
• Present updates and progress to stakeholders including teachers, managers, students and parents.
• Coach and develop colleagues to enable ongoing professional growth.
