Ambitious about Autism is seeking an Assistive Technologist for Ambitious College, based at our West London Campus in Isleworth. You will be the specialist point of contact for assistive technology, blending hands‑on learner work with coaching and strategic development.

You will assess needs, recommend technologies, help create inclusive learning environments, and train colleagues to use assistive tech effectively. The role offers CPD opportunities and a supportive, diverse workplace.

Formación

• Experience with assistive technology to support learning and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Be the specialist point of contact for assistive technology at your location, combining hands‑on work with learners with coaching, training and strategic development.
• Identify learners' assistive technology needs and create starting points and support plans.
• Assess, recommend and support a range of assistive technologies from low-tech to advanced systems.
• Create inclusive, communication-rich learning environments that enable independence.
• Collaborate with teaching teams, Speech and Language Therapists, and other professionals to embed technology in education and support.
• Coach and develop colleagues to use assistive technology in everyday learning environments.
• Provide training and guidance to colleagues and families around augmentative communication and literacy support.
