Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking an Assistive and Learning Technologist to promote digital inclusion and enhance the student learning experience across the College. You will support students and staff in using technology to improve accessibility, engagement and achievement.

Working across curriculum and support areas, you will provide training, guidance on assistive technologies, and contribute to digital skills development, including AI, VR and immersive learning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners and colleagues in a technology-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of assistive technologies to improve accessibility.
• Experience delivering training and producing guidance materials for digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and guidance on assistive technologies and digital tools.
• Support students with additional learning needs to access learning through technology.
• Deliver training to staff and students on software and digital content.
• Collaborate with curriculum and support areas to promote digital inclusion.
