Job summary

The Children’s Trust in Tadworth is seeking a Technician (Assistive Technologies) to support multidisciplinary teams with assistive and neuro technologies. You will procure, install, maintain devices, log actions, and assist therapists with assessments while enabling safe participation for children and young people.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing assistive and neuro-technology devices.
• Ability to configure and set up devices for children.
• Experience maintaining and logging equipment records.

Responsibilities

• Support child-facing staff in implementing assistive and neuro technology to improve participation.
• Procure, prepare, set up, maintain devices and log actions in a digital record.
• Work on planned preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is safe to use.
• Configure vocabularies, apps, activities to enable participation through latest technology.
• Provide training to staff on assistive technology skills and knowledge.
• Support queries from educational, health and therapy staff.
• Assist with demonstrations and trials of new neuro-technology.
• Deliver high-quality interventions under qualified therapists.
• Maintain records in line with legal and organisational requirements.
