Drb Ignite Multi Academy Trust invites an experienced leader to join as Assistant Inclusion Lead, focusing on inclusion, SEND and wellbeing across our Trust.
You will work with the Trust Inclusion Team and senior leaders to shape strategy, support SENCOs and safeguarding, and develop specialist curricula and pathways that are equitable and responsive to pupil needs.

In this newly developed post, you will support the Trust Inclusion Team to shape inclusive and specialist provision and opportunities for all pupils across our Trust with a focus on the most vulnerable.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Trust School Improvement Team. You will work closely with the Trust Executive Leadership Team, Headteachers and school colleagues to support the development of the Trust’s inclusion strategy, ensuring consistently high-quality delivery within our schools. You will work with the wider school improvement team to embed our inclusion safeguarding, SEND, behaviour and wellbeing strategies, ensuring high quality support and challenge for all pupils with a focus on the most vulnerable.
The Assistant Inclusion Lead will work alongside the Trust Inclusion Team to provide strategic direction and guidance to all schools and specialist provisions within the Trust, offering advice, support and technical expertise to Headteachers and will ensure that SENCO’s, safeguarding, and pastoral staff benefit from current and relevant evidence informed practice and research.
You will be a skilled communicator and strong advocate for the pupils and families we serve and hold relevant SEN leadership qualification/s. You will also have significant professional experience working with pupils with SEND, including those educated within inclusion bases, resource bases or specialist provisions as well as proven ability to take a strategic overview of curriculum design, including specialist curriculum pathways that are ambitious, equitable and responsive to pupils’ needs.
