This role is ideal for someone with strong transport planning experience who enjoys coordinating vehicles, drivers and daily workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

• Planning vehicles, drivers, collections and deliveries
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and third-party hauliers
• Monitoring driver hours and transport compliance
• Supporting drivers with operational issues
• Organising fleet maintenance and servicing
• Assisting with recruitment and training
• Covering for the Transport Manager when required

Requirements:

• Previous transport planning or transport operations experience
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Transport Manager CPC desirable but not essential

Pay & Hours:

• £34,200 per year
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00-17:00
• Permanent, full‑time position
