Apps IT Ltd is hiring an Assistant Technical Coordinator to support the Office Manager and the technical team in a busy IT services environment. This entry-level role values attitude, reliability and the ability to get things done without needing everything spelled out.
You will handle day-to-day administration, monitor the support inbox, and create and assign tickets using Halo, while assisting consultants and coordinating appointments.
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Location: Office-based, 5 days per week
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Assistant Technical Coordinator to join a busy IT services business and become a key support to the Office Manager and wider technical team.
This is an entry-level opportunity, so you do not need years of IT experience or a technical background. What matters most is your attitude, common sense, willingness to learn and ability to get things done without needing everything spelled out for you.
You will be working in a busy, down-to-earth environment where no two days are quite the same. You'll be helping to keep the office running smoothly, supporting consultants, dealing with clients and managing the day-to-day administration that keeps the technical team moving.
There is also plenty of opportunity to learn more about the technical side of the business and develop your career within IT.
We're not looking for someone with a perfect CV. We're looking for someone with the right attitude.
A good sense of humour is genuinely important. We're a friendly, working-class bunch who don't take ourselves too seriously. There is plenty of banter, plenty of swearing and plenty of opportunity to give as good as you get!
This is an entry-level position, and previous IT experience is not essential.
We can teach you the systems and technical skills. Attitude, reliability and common sense are much harder to teach.
This role offers a genuine opportunity to build a career within IT.
As you gain experience, there will be opportunities to learn more about the technical side of the business, develop your knowledge and take on additional responsibilities.
You don't need to be an IT expert on day one. We're looking for potential rather than perfection.
If you're someone who turns up, gets stuck in, learns quickly and takes pride in doing a good job, we'd like to hear from you.
