You should have a thorough understanding and experience of working within adult safeguarding, including S42 enquiries, MSP, the Care Act (2014), the Mental Capacity Act (2005), and DOLS.

You will also need to be:

  • Empowering – effective communication during difficult conversations is essential.
  • Confident – your decision-making within risk enablement must be sound.
  • Organised – able to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment with complex and changing priorities.
