We are looking for professionals who are committed to working with people in a person-centered and strength-based manner, ensuring that the safeguarding process is personal and meaningful.
You will be part of a team that triages safeguarding referrals, ensuring that Making Safeguarding Personal and Safeguarding Principles are maintained.
Professional curiosity is key to the role. You will undertake safeguarding enquiries while maintaining people's choice and control, empowering adults within a positive risk enablement and strengths-based approach.
To take on this role, you must hold a professional Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have some post-qualifying practice experience.
You should have a thorough understanding and experience of working within adult safeguarding, including S42 enquiries, MSP, the Care Act (2014), the Mental Capacity Act (2005), and DOLS.
