Job summary

Marshalls plc, Burton site, is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Leader in maintaining a safe, high-performing production environment. You will motivate and coach colleagues, drive continuous improvement and ensure quality and safety standards are met across shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to lead by example when the Team Leader is absent.

Responsibilities

Support the Team Leader in maintaining a safe, high-performing production environment.
Lead and coach team members to achieve daily targets and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving on the production floor.
Liaise with other shifts to ensure smooth handovers and line availability.
