Job summary

Ibstock School is seeking an Assistant Swimming Teacher to assist our swimming instructors with delivering engaging and safe lessons for children. This role supports learners in developing confidence and skills, under supervision, within a welcoming team.

The position is zero hours with flexible shifts (Mon-Thu 3:45-6:15 pm; Sat mornings) and requires DBS clearance. Applicants should be reliable, friendly and team-oriented for a positive learning environment.

ASSISTANT SWIMMING TEACHER

Shifts available Mondays - Thursdays from 3.45 - 6.15 pm and Saturday mornings from 10.00 am onwards.Grade 4, Point 6: £13.38 per hour basic hourly rate + enhancementZero hours' contract

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Assistant Swimming Teacher to join our friendly and supportive leisure team.

About the role

As an Assistant Swimming Teacher, you will support our swimming teachers in delivering fun, engaging and safe swimming lessons. You will help swimmers develop their confidence and skills, whilst ensuring a positive experience for every child.

We are looking for someone who:

• Ideally holds a Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification
• Is enthusiastic and passionate about swimming
• Enjoys working with children and young people
• Is reliable, friendly and approachable
• Works well as part of a team
• Is committed to creating a safe and encouraging learning environment.

This is a zero hours contract, with a variety of flexible shifts available to suit your availability and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in swimming teaching.
