Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking an Assistant Swimming Teacher to support lessons from babies to adults. You will work under the Swimming Teacher to develop swimmers' skills and confidence in the water, and may lead a small group under supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, working with children, and opportunities for personal learning and development. A Level 1 UKCC or equivalent is preferred, with comprehensive benefits including Health & Fitness membership and a pension.

• Ability to work with children.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Experience in assisting in swimming teaching/children's classes is preferred.

Responsibilities

More about your role

As an Assistant Swimming Teacher you will support the Swimming Teacher in swimming lessons from babies to adults. You'll work closely with the Swimming Teacher in supporting swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the water. Within lessons, you may be responsible for a small group of learners learning a specific skill, under the direction of the Swimming Teacher
