Wates Property Services is recruiting an Assistant Surveyor to support the commercial management of planned maintenance and retrofit projects in the Dartford area. You will help ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget, while collaborating with an experienced team.

The role offers exposure to retrofit, energy efficiency improvements and social housing refurbishment contracts, with opportunities for structured career development and progression within a leading property

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in a surveying related field.
• Experience in commercial management of planned maintenance or retrofit projects is desirable.
• Understanding of cost control, valuations and subcontract management is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the commercial management of planned works and retrofit contracts.
• Support the preparation of valuations, cost reports and forecasts.
• Monitor project costs and budget performance.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and package management.
• Support the preparation and agreement of variations.
• Help maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
• Work closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.
• Support monthly reporting and commercial reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements.
