Balfour Beatty plc is seeking an Assistant Supply Chain Manager to lead defined workstreams within Power Transmission & Distribution. You’ll build strategic supplier relationships, use data insights to shape supply chain strategies, and collaborate across Operations, Commercial, Engineering and Safety to ensure project delivery.

The role is based in UK hubs with a hybrid model: three days in the office, plus broader regional responsibilities. MCIPS or progress toward it is advantageous.

• Proven experience building and managing supplier relationships in a complex environment.
• Growth mindset with willingness to progress in supply chain management.

• Digitally fluent with procurement and performance management systems.
• Strong project and change management skills.
• MCIPS qualification or working towards it is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deepen strategic supplier relationships to support growth.
• Own strategic initiatives and present clear supply chain strategies.
• Conduct market and risk analyses to ensure resilience.
• Help develop and implement supply chain strategies for projects or regions.
• Engage suppliers, conduct RFIs, assess capabilities and explore options.
• Promote early supplier engagement and explore alternative delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Safety, Quality and Sustainability.
